Greetings!
Our November meeting was our final meeting and DPC competition of the year, and it did not disappoint, as the members submitted some amazing, inspiring images for the judges. In the end, congratulations to Wayne Cutler for his beautiful Best in Show portrait image.
Our next meeting will be our Open House and 2015 Awards presentation for Photographers of the year. You will not want to miss this evening. So plan to join us on Thursday, January 21, 2016. The evening will be a sports-themed event, with some great items to be given away! We will also be installing the 2016 board this evening as well.
As I wrap up my 2nd and final year as President of PPLAC, I must thank all of the committee members and board members who have given countless hours of their time to help make this the amazing organization that it is. I would like to thank our members for their input, the inspiring images at DPC, and their contributions to PPLAC. Without each and every single person, this organization would not exist. You all have helped me grow as a photographer, a person and with your support as I battled and beat cancer over the last 2 years. Thank you!
I wish each and every one of you and your families a safe, fun and inspiring holiday season and remember, "Get out there and shoot some amazing images!

You know you are a true photographer when...You get up before sunrise and you go to bed way after the moon starts to disappear.
These PPLAC members, Bob Young, Sharon Lobel, Cheryl Provencio and John Grusd braved the wind and the cold for a two night photo camp trip to Salton Sea and was later joined by Rusty Nelson and Angela Chen in Joshua Tree. Get Your Image Ready For The Judge's Choice Award
The Judge's Choice Award is always a prestigious award that is given at our PPLAC Open House and Awards dinner by an unknown judge.
In order to be considered for the 2015 PPLAC Judge's Choice Award you must meet the following guidelines:
1. You must be a member of PPLAC in good standing. 2. You can enter up to two (2) printed images no larger than a 16" x 24". 3. Prints must be mounted and can be framed but not necessary. 4. Any medium is acceptable. (Metal, Gallery Wrap, Acrylic, etc...) 5. You MUST be present to win.
