Greetings!
Our September meeting featured Kristi Elias who shared her secrets on creating the ultimate client experience and the do's and don'ts of dealing with clients. The evening was full of great information not to mention her amazing images.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, October 22, 2015 and will feature Troy Miller and his thoughts on Wedding Photography. The evening will be very informative.
As we approach the end of our year, we will be asking for additional nominations from the floor for our 2016 PPLAC board. Here are the individuals nominated so far: - President - Marcia Gold

Our next PPLAC workshop is set for Sunday, November 1st, Photoshop with Michael Collins, and will be held in Santa Clarita. The workshop will be 10am to 4pm, with a cost of $49 for members and $69 for non-members. Contact Sharon Lobel if you are interested, as this class is limited to 8 people.
Keep in mind that the next PPC image competition will be February 27, 2016 and for the first time, affiliate members can enter the competition including being eligible for awards.

Event Recap: WWII Super Shoot
What an incredible event! The WWII SuperShoot was held on Sunday September 20th at the Camarillo Air Museum at the Camarillo Airport. PPC put the event together, and provided approximately 40 photographers several different shooting sets, many maned by instructors including, Kristi Elias, Tim Meyer, Steve Roosa and our PPLAC member David Nicholson.
There were 12 female models and 3 male, hair and makeup stylists all making the models look amazing. Our own Sharon Lobel was in charge of the model wardrobe and did an amazing job.

News: Congratulations George DeLoache
George DeLoache had 3 images go into the Loan Collection and 1 into the General Collection at the International Photographic Competition. George will be receiving the Platinum medal as Platinum Photographer of the Year in January 2016 in Atlanta, GA.
George's image was featured on the cover of Camerapixo Photography Magazine!
Way to go, George!

News: Congratulations John Grusd
In the Photographic Society of America's (PSA) 2015 PSA International competition, John had 6 images earn Acceptance (Merit) with one of them gaining an Honorable Mention Award.
At the 3rd quarter image competition of the Channel Islands Professional Photographers Association (CIPPA), 3 images were awarded merits, two of them earning Best in Class (Animal and Architecture)
And finally, in the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) 2015 International Photographic Competition, John had 2 images accepted into the Loan Collection.
"The International Landscape Photographer of the Year" competition has included John's images in the top 101 images for 2015!
Amazing work, John!
