Greetings!
Our March meeting with Piper Mackay was simply awe inspiring. Her passion is infectious, and her images are just stunning. You just don't come across many photographers who have the passion that they are willing to uproot and move to a country to talk the talk and walk the walk. Simply inspiring.
Our upcoming April meeting brings us local photographer and traveling speaker, William Innes. William is a local award winning wedding photographer who will be sharing his 2nd passion, Travel Photography and mirrorless cameras. It is incredible how his amazing travel images improve and inspire his wedding images. Come join us and William on Thursday, April 23, starting at 6:30pm.
Having just spent the last week at the PPC Conference and Expo, it is just fantastic to see all of the great photographers of our area. The speaker program was amazing, and hopefully you were able to take some of it in for yourself. I would like to congratulate our own Sharon Lobel, as she was presented her PPC Service award, and also John Grusd, as he received the Judge's Choice award for his stunning image "Beautiful".
Please keep in the back of your mind that our next Digital Image Competition is coming up May 28, 2015 so start thinking about your images.
If you are so inclined, the next PPC quarterly board meeting will be April 18-20 in Sacramento, and all PPC members are invited.
So have a great month, and get out there and shoot some amazing images.
