I would like to congratulate all of the DPC winners and merit winners from our first competition of 2014.  The images were amazing, and the judging was superb and full of insight.  Even if you do not enter, you should not miss the next DPC, as you can learn so much from the judge's comments.  Our next DPC is set for May 22, 2014.  And many thanks to the DPC committee of Bob Young, Teresa Pepe, Jillian Ellis, Cheryl Provencio and Alicia Bravo, as they worked very hard to present a seamless evening.

In case you missed the news, we announced our 2nd workshop of the year, and wow, what a response.  It was sold out in less than 12 hours!!!!  That's right, 12 spots gone in a blink, to attendees at the February meeting, so you may not want to miss the March 2014 meeting, as you never know what might happen or be announced... Don't be left out in the cold.

Our April meeting will have David Saffir talking about Time Lapse Photography, from image capture, to equipment needs to image processing.  So mark April 24 on your calendars for this special evening.

As you can see, we have an exciting year planned, and each meeting we add more and more from special workshops to safaris to special guest speakers.  In fact, in March I will detail a super special evening for our June meeting.  So, we look forward to seeing you on March 27, 2014 to share in the exciting year with PPLAC.
