Workshop

Tuesday

6-10pm

Intensive Lightroom workflow workshop for all levels.

Advanced, intermediate and beginning/novice users will be split into separate groups during this event.

Maximum 15 attendees

First attendee to sign up will receive a set of MANGOphoto Lightroom workflow presets & brushes free!

PPLAC Members: $49

Non-members: $79

If you sign up, pay for the workshop and purchase the MANGOphoto Lightroom Workflow presets & brushes on our website before September 1st, you will get the set for just $49.

MANGOphoto Lightroom Workflow presets & brushes will be available at the workshop for only $59, a $99 value.

Workshop run by Marcia Gold (Certified Expert Photoshop Lightroom), Liz Chalmers and Onnie Hull.

Fundraising

Door prizes: Free for just showing up, learning and having fun!

Drawing: $1 and $5 drawing- one dollar gets you one ticket, five dollars gets you six tickets. All items are worth more than a dollar. Some items are worth over $10 or more.

Silent Auction: Lots of goodies!
Perhaps onOneSoftware and other vendors' wares will appear. One auction item is collector worthy, retailing for $300.

AUGUST Meeting RECAP
Gerry Imura

Photographer and tech expert Gerry Imura put the focus on filters for digital cameras at the August meeting. Gerry explained and shared tips on filters including: UV/lens protection, , polarizing, neutral density, and graduated. He also got into the quality/results differences between entry level versus pricier filters-- and how to check them out for their effectiveness before buying. Gerry ended the evening fielding questions from the audience on infared photography, point-and-shoot cameras, and lenses. Thanks to Gerry for an info-packed session!

September General Meeting

Alan Mayer: Live Model Shoot & LayerCake Demo

Two Classes in One Night!

Master Photographer Alan Mayer has lined up a 2-part class for the evening:

First, a live model shoot with PPLAC's Ramiro Gaytan. Then, using images from the shoot, Alan will demo LayerCake software's "Studio Magic Cutout Panel". Drop in the model, then cut out fly-away hair, add shadows, and paint with light!
