Greetings!
It's all ready August, and change is in the air.
We are about to lose a few of our very talented and dedicated board members at the end of this year, some of whom have served for well over 5 years. Now it's time for them to take on new challenges, or sit back and relax.
We are going to miss their expertise and talents, so we need volunteers now to step up to the plate NOW and continue on and carry the torch in the name of PPLAC. If you think that you could bring anything to the table and make PPLAC the best yet, come and talk to us soon.
Now, as a little side note, there are perks for being a board member that are not offered to regular members, BUT you will have to join the board to find out what they are!
Next year promises to be a great year with lots of speakers, workshops and safaris-- so hang on for an exciting 2014. This year is not over yet, and we still have plans for great meetings, etc. for the remaining months.
Cheers,
Bob Young
PPLAC President

Photog Tip
by Bob Young

On the inside of the body cap of my camera, I put double stick tape to catch all the dust that falls out of the mirror box or dust that collects in the cap while it sits in my camera bag. The tape grabs it, so it doesn't make its way to my sensor.
