Dear (Contact First Name),
A while back, a fellow photographer approached me and asked if I would do some magic touches to their images. Of course, I said 'yes' (for a small fee). That photog so happy with the results I was asked to retouch additional photos.
Then, I got to thinking about a saying I learned a long time ago: "Give a man a fish, feed them for a day; teach a man to fish, feed them for life."
That's what we at PPLAC endeavor to do: teach you to fish. It's so easy for you to hand off your images to someone you believe has mastered their craft-- but wouldn't it be more satisfying if you could accomplish it on your own?
If you are having a bit of a problem in moving forward, get in touch with us, let us know what you need, and we will endeavor to set up workshops to cover these areas. In addition, PPC has set up California Sundays (register on line) and PPC's West Coast School in June still has openings.
PPLAC has some great speakers lined up for you, so you cannot afford to miss one meeting. Remember our meetings are held the forth Thursday of the month, but you must check our calendar for the actual date. Hope to see you soon.
Cheers,
Bob Young PPLAC President |

Los Angeles-based photographer Robert Landau's unique vision of the Los Angeles urban landscape 'clicked' with the PPLAC March meeting crowd! "The speaker was so captivating... Anyone that failed to attend this program really missed an inspiring presentation." -Dennis Nisbet Landau's work includes four books as well as exhibits in the U.S. and abroad... but had fun with us in his own backyard.
