FSAE Leadership Academy Deadline Fast Approaching

FSAE has partnered with the University of Florida Executive Education to develop a leadership training program that offers hands-on learning while solving real issues from your organization.

The FSAE Leadership Academy is an intensive, in-person and online training course on core leadership skills. Conducted by University of Florida Executive Education instructors, a maximum of 30 participants will spend approximately 32 hours over a four month period learning key leadership components and developing a working solution for a current problem or issue in their organization. Learn more.

Attendees will develop life-long knowledge and skills that carry them through successful careers - both inside and outside of the association industry.

The first Leadership Academy class starts in January 2014, but the deadline for applications is September 30. Scholarships from the FSAE Foundation are also available for FSAE Members.

• IOM Winter Institute Tuition Grant Opportunity - FSAE partners with Institute for Organization Management, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation professional development program for non-profit executives, and offer two $500 partial tuition grants to one of Institute’s 2014 sites. The deadline to apply for Winter Institute is November 20.

• ASAE Foundation Opens Applications for Innovation Grants Program - ASAE Foundation has opened applications for its Innovation Grants Program (IGP), and the deadline to apply is October 20. Individuals from professional or trade associations, nonprofits, association industry partners, and consulting companies that serve the association community are eligible to apply, and applicants or applicant teams must include at least one ASAE member. Up to four grants will be awarded in three categories: travel, exploration or hybrid (a combination of travel and exploration). Grant recipients will receive awards of up to $10,000 with SunTrust Foundation being a major supporter of this initiative. Visit ASAE's website for more details.
