Admissions Open House for Upper School 
Harding's Admissions Open House for the upper school (grades 7-12) is this Sunday, October 28, on the Cherry Road campus. This event is tailored for families who are considering Harding for their students who will be in grades 7-12 next school year.

Open House registration opens at 1:30 p.m.. Then at 2:00, the event begins with an assembly in the O. O. Emmons Auditorium. Guests will have a chance to learn about Harding's mission and see how it plays out in various programs on campus.

In the past, Open House has been a come-and-go event, but this year there is a program. Guests will want to be here for the 2:00 p.m. assembly.

Current families are urged to invite friends, co-workers, neighbors, and fellow church members to visit us this Sunday.

Veterans Day Program 
Friday, November 9, we will host a Veterans Day program honoring former Harding teacher Ike Hall. Mr Hall taught 7th grade geography and Bible at Harding Academy from 1966-1988. He served in WWII and was confined to a wheelchair after being injured.

The Institute for Faith and the Arts is proud to announce that Andrew Peterson will be performing for Harding upper school students on Friday, February 15.

Andrew Peterson is an American singer-songwriter of Contemporary Christian music. He is a founding member of the Square Peg Alliance, a group of Christian songwriters, as well as an author. Peterson is working on a four-part fantasy series for young readers called the Wingfeather Saga. Mark your calendars for this exciting visit!

ACT Prep Classes  
The 4-week prep class for the December 8 test (11/8, 11/15, 11/29, 12/6) is now registering - click here. Flyers are also available in the Upper School Counseling Office.  
College Day  
On October 30, Harding Academy will host a college fair for its 9th-12th grade students. Parents and students will be invited to talk with representatives from over 40 colleges. The fair will be held in the Ellers Gymnasium from 8:00-10:00 a.m. Each grade will have a different allotted time to talk to the representatives. Please have your student check the list on the bulletin board outside the counseling office.

Parents are welcome to come to the college fair anytime between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.

Girls Area-wide "The Walk"

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Girls from all over the Memphis area are invited to a day just for them! "The Walk" will be held on Saturday, November 10, at Germantown Church of Christ. Cost is $15. Boys Area-wide "Guys Only"

Boys will have their own day at Woodland Hills Church of Christ - a study of Matthew 6:21. The times are staggered from the girls area-wide so parents/drivers can get kids to both events. Cost is $15 RSVP to afarmer@greatoaks.com.

Congratulations to senior Shelley Doss who was accepted into the AP Art Portfolio class at Memphis College of Art this semester.
Band

Make plans to attend Little Women on November 3, 4, and 5 in the O. O. Emmons Auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door. Thursday and Saturday performances are at 7:00 p.m. Friday's time is TBA and will be posted on the website on Monday.
