From time to time we study world religions to help us better understand their beliefs and our neighbors who practice them while we hold on to the tenets of the Christian faith. Join us as we continue a DVD-study and class discussion on Buddhism as published by The Great Courses company. They draw upon the knowledge of Malcolm David Eckel, Professor of Religion and Director of the Core Curriculum at Boston University, an expert on Buddhism and comparative religion. This small group is led by Rev. Sandy Harlan, Deacon with the United Methodist Church and appointed to St. Luke's. |
