MAY ART SHOW.....Upstairs Art Gallery

United Methodist Women of St. Luke's will be showcasing art prepared and presented by the youth of the Indiana United Methodist Children's Home throughout the month of May.  We welcome you to a small reception after the 9:30 service on May 25, 2013.

Boys and girls at Indiana United Methodist Children's Home in Lebanon receive treatment and counseling services along with care through the Teaching Family Model.  These children are recovering from the effects of abuse, neglect, and abandonment.  We believe that art and creative writing offer positive, acceptable ways for children to express themselves.

A week-long art workshop held last summer encouraged the children to explore many different kinds of artistic media.  The banners on display at St. Luke's were designed and created by youth inour care through the Christian Education program.  The other works on display are submissions of personal projects from some of the boys and girls at the Home.
