Winter is a great time for singlespeeds - dirt and grime can't affect your shifting if you don't have gears, right? This timing is perfect for the delivery of our newest one-gear masterpiece, the new ONE 9 RDO.
Introduced at Eurobike 2013, the ONE 9 RDO is the best ONE yet. Based on the shaping of the AIR 9 RDO with new features such as 142x12 dropouts, Biocentric II bottom bracket and the ability to run it as a singlespeed or with an XX1 style drivetrain, the first batch of frames isn't going to last. As the weather cools, we turn our attention to the video studio, where we are working to create all new technical guides to help you to adjust and maintain your Niner. Above is one of our first efforts, showing you how to disassemble and reassemble the RIP 9 RDO's unique and simple pivot hardware. Feel free to make requests as to what other technical questions you would like to see us address this winter.
