Ingellis Named Executive Director of New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce

(New Paltz, NY) It is the distinct honor of the Board of Directors of the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce to announce the appointment of Peter Ingellis as the Executive Director of the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce. Appointed last November as Interim President, Mr. Ingellis has already begun to create a new culture for the Chamber.

Chamber Board Chair Frank Curcio of Merrill Lynch fully supports the Executive Committee's decision to name Peter Ingellis as Executive Director of the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce.  "Since Pete has taken over as Interim President, he has done an outstanding job in a difficult time and has earned the right to lead this organization.  As Board Chair, I worked closely with Pete in his previous roles as Membership Director and Interim President.  He brings a sense professionalism and camaraderie to both the staff and the membership.  I am excited to continue to work with Pete as he leads the organization and as it continues to grow and provide support for our members and our community", said Curcio.

Mindi Haynes of Vanacore, DeBenedictus, DiGovanni & Weddell, LLP, CPAs and First Vice Chair of the Chamber Board congratulates Mr. Ingellis on his transition to Executive Director.  "Peter's team work, professionalism and commitment to the Chamber ensure he will have much success in this new role.  I look forward to continue working with Peter to make the Chamber the best it can be."

Chris Drouin of Beyond Wealth Management and Immediate Past Chair of the Board stated that, "As a Chamber Member, Peter was a great contributor and an active participant. I was thrilled when he was hired as Membership Director and he has done an exemplary job as Interim President. These experiences and having run a business of his own have made him very in tune with the business community. He successfully brings to the table leadership, vision, and cohesiveness. Peter Ingellis makes a great team mate for the Board, Staff, and community."

"We have worked to make the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce an organization with a vision and have put together the pieces that we feel will advance the initiatives that we seek to advocate for", Ingellis stated. "We have a strong and vibrant community and that community deserves an active Chamber of Commerce. We will continue to build the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce into the organization that the community and its Membership deserves. I am thankful for the support that I have received from the Board of Directors and look forward to continuing to raise the bar on our events, educational series, and community involvement with their help and guidance."
