The 5th Annual New Paltz Challenge Half Marathon and 5K is being held on Sunday June 15th. You can sign up on Active.com or download an application from our website at www.newpaltzchallenge.com. This is a great event that showcases our community and brings people to town to participate, and also patronize our local businesses and, really, what better way is there to spend a Sunday morning? Please contact the Chamber if you need more information about this great event.

The Other New Paltz Challenge is a challenge to our Members and former Members. In case you haven't noticed, we have changed many, many things. We are building bonds in areas that have been neglected, focusing on networking, hosting events that add value to your Membership, and are being heard in our regional community. There is a buzz around your Chamber and it is about what we can do, not what we can't do.

If you aren't attending events, attend some. You'll see the difference. You'll feel the excitement.

If you aren't a Member or you used to be a Member, come see us or contact me and I will come see you. Attend a Mixer or Business Card Exchange and you will wonder why you aren't a bigger part of this great Chamber.

If you are a Member and regularly attend events or come to our offices to see us, first off, thank you for your attendance and for using our services here at the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce. You obviously understand how to maximize the benefits of your Chamber Membership! The "challenge" for you, should you choose to accept, it is for you to encourage people in your networking circles to come and see why we are a different Chamber of Commerce.

There is little doubt that you interact with a great many people daily. I am amazed by how many people I talk to, call, or email on a daily basis.  If you would encourage some of your contacts come and see what this Chamber is all about, we would greatly appreciate it and so would the people who you turned onto the Chamber. You see, you and I know that Membership in the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce is extremely valuable for those who utilize the opportunities that we present. They will thank you for bringing them in. You will feel good about it too. What is better than that?
