Well, Punxsutawney Phil did the dreaded and predicted six more weeks of winter (we have a sneaking suspicion that it would have been a month and a half if he hadn't), but we're not deterred, because things are really heating up here at your Chamber. Our members' Rolodexes experienced some warming friction last week as we held our quarterly Business Card Exchange at Moxie Cupcake - a cozy hometown nook that burns it up when it comes to sweets and hospitality. And we're looking forward to the heartwarming factor as we prepare for next week's pre-Valentine's Day After-Hours Mixer at Buttermilk Falls.  You know what would warm our hearts? If you'd kindly give our Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation at New Paltz - the Chamber's not-for-profit Foundation that raises funds for educational scholarships, your vote in Ulster Savings' Mid-Hudson Heroes contest. Should we win, the funds would go directly to scholarship recipients in our community. You can vote once every 24 hours. What's your business's burning desire?
