We have made it through a full week of work after the Holidays and now the true fun begins. We are excited by what the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce is working on and I want to share some of the good news.
The New Paltz Regional Gift Card is gaining momentum and new members are signing on to use this fantastic program. It should not be long before we reach a critical mass and launch this program in earnest. The feedback from the community has been overwhelmingly positive.
The Business Showcase is filling up fast and promises to have an exciting line up of speakers and exhibitors. Thank you to those who have already signed up and to our sponsor, Wallkill Valley Federal Savings and Loan. There are still booths and sponsorships available. Don't miss this great event.
We are also looking into putting together a committee that tackles issues facing uptown and downtown business issues in New Paltz. The goal is to put together a creative and energetic committee that will provide solutions to some of the issues that these businesses currently face. Please contact us if you are interested in this opportunity.
Last, but certainly not least, thank you to Helen Gutfreund for her work on W.O.W. - The Wisdom of Women and Theresa Salzillo and Jason Valentino for their work on HYPE- the Huguenot Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs. These groups have generated their own following and are benefiting the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce and the community in many, many ways.
The New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce, YOUR Chamber, is gathering momentum that will carry us throughout the year and into 2015.
