May 14, 2013

Greetings!

The New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud of our many affiliations with SUNY New Paltz.  We are particularly proud of the SUNY New Paltz School of Business students who recently helped us coordinate our Pot-O-Gold Business Showcase.  They worked so hard and we look forward to collaborating on more projects with them in the future.

This week, I was honored to attend a retirement dinner for longtime Professor and Dean at the SUNY New Paltz School of Business, Hadi Salavitabar, Ph.D. Dr.  Salavitabar has always been a friend of the Chamber and we wish him wish all the happiness that retirement has to offer.

Tomorrow, Wednesday May 15, we are pleased to present Michael Treanor of Nevele Resort at our May Business Luncheon at The Gilded Otter in New Paltz. Mr. Treanor will be speaking about the potential economic impacts of the proposed Nevele Resort, Casino and Spa in Ellenville.  There are still some seats available.  If you would like to join us for lunch, please click here to register.

Sincerely,

Michael A. Smith, president
