Safe Church Training at St. Peter's: The Episcopal Church requires
that ALL Church Personnel, including clergy, salaried staff, and volunteers, including Church School staff, Scout Leaders, Music Directors and Teachers, Lay Eucharistic Visitors, Parochial school teachers and staff, Vestry Members and Wardens, and ANY KEYHOLDERS attend a six hour Safe Church Training Session. We have been given permission to hold such training at St. Peter's on Saturday, April 23 from 9 am to 3 pm. The trainer will be the Reverend Anthony Jones, Deacon at St. John's, Huntington. This training is at no cost to the participant. If you are one who needs to take the training and cannot make this date, there are sessions available at the Mercer School of Theology throughout the year. If you have not already, please sign up on the sheet in the narthex. We can only accommodate 50 persons, so reserve your space early. Please note: If you are in the category of needing this training, you MUST take it; not an option!

Save the Date! The 4th Annual Episcopalian Bike Ride for Fellowship and Fundraising -- Saturday, April 30th. A sign-up sheet, sponsor form and FAQs sheets are available in the Narthex.
 
Good Shepherd Hospice Bereavement Services are opened to anyone in the community who has experienced a loss through death at no charge. Upcoming Bereavement Support Groups, led by a Bereavement Specialist, include: Spousal/Partner Loss Group - 4/7/16-5/26/16; 6:00PM-7:30PM. Group is held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9 Clinton Ave., Bay Shore. Registration required - (631) 828-7629.

with a Memorial Plaque that will be located in the Narthex of St. Peter's Church. The cost of the plaque is $1,500. We have raised $750 so far but we need help raising the rest of the funds. Please help support this worthy cause. Troop 43 thanks you for your support. Further information is available in the narthex.

McCloskey, Jr.;
 
We pray for those who have died;
 
We pray for those in military service, and especially for Eileen, John, Kyle, Robert, and Stephen;
 
We pray for those with special needs: the unemployed; for all who suffer from addictions; for all who have AIDS and those who care for them;
 
We pray for our companion dioceses of Torit & Ecuador-Central;
 
In the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer we pray for St. John's, Springfield Gardens; Grace Church, Whitestone; The Women's Commission; Bushwick Abbey, Brooklyn; St. Paul's, Woodside; All Saints', Baldwin; St. Thomas', Bellerose;
 
In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer we pray for the Church of Ireland, and the Dioceses of Butare (Rwanda); Butere (Kenya); Buye (Burundi); Byumba (Rwanda); Calabar (Nigeria); Calcutta (North India).
