CHAMBER NEWS -
October  2013

Is it Fall? (or are we being goofed?)
OK. I know it's New England and we're known for our quirky weather.  As I sit at my desk writing this article, I am still perplexed (yet, not disappointed) by the fact that the temperature is again going to hit 80 and the weather report is saying that another day is not out of the question and we'll still be in 70's for the next few days.  So is it really Fall or are we being lulled into a false sense of security?  To my friends who can't wait for snow, don't worry, I am sure you'll be shushing down the slopes this winter season.  But, for the time being, I'll take the warm weather!

Anyway, enough for my treatise on the climate.  What Fall means to us at the Chamber is that the committees are already hard at work on events for you to network, meet up with your fellow members and to help make Greater Easthampton an inviting destination for the holidays.

Check out more info on October's Networking by Night, Celebrity Bartenders Night AND our 13th Annual Bowl-a-thon, which is now officially a "Disco Bowl" this year! Click on the links here or in the sidebar to learn more about the events, watch for upcoming email blasts, and don't mind being goofed--enjoy this crazy weather!

Member Spotlight: Easthampton Travel Inc.

Serving Easthampton since 1991,  Easthampton Travel

is a full-service travel agency offering cruises, flights, hotel, cars, escorted tours, FIT tours, family vacations, corporate travel and many more services. It is located in the Eastworks building at 116 Pleasant Street, suite 131, Easthampton.

According to owner Vicky Puza-Allen, travel can be a hassle, especially in unfamiliar or exotic locales where you don't know the language. But a vacation can be a carefree experience if all the nitty-gritty details are taken care of in advance by a professional, friendly travel agent. Using a travel agent provides you with personal service in case something goes wrong, and can offer you the best choices in pricing and packages.
