STEM Activities Planned All Summer Long
Summer is quickly approaching and there are several STEM camp opportunities!

Join us for STEM on CAMPus at University of Missouri-St. Louis or Southeast Missouri State University the first week of June. 

In July, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts can attend STEM Camp at Beaumont. Cub Scout STEM Camp will focus on the Science Everywhere and Swing! (engineering) Nova awards. More than 40 STEM-based merit badges and all NOVA awards will be available during Boy Scout STEM Camp. (Plus Boy Scouts can save $100 if it is a second week of summer camp.)

Honor Veterans For Memorial Day 
May 29 marks our 67th annual Memorial Day Good Turn. It is one of the longest running Memorial Day events within the Boy Scouts of America. Please help us honor our veterans during this meaningful event. Click here to register for Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Help Spruce Up Our Camps
Ranger staff at S bar F Scout Ranch are looking for volunteers to help perform property maintenance on May 14 at The Ranch (with chainsaw training).

Spend The Day Fishing Nim's Lake 
Webelos, Boy Scouts, and Venturers -- as well as adults -- can enjoy a day of fishing on Nim's Lake at S bar F Scout Ranch on May 21, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendance prizes will be awarded and coffee and donuts are available in the morning.

Scout and Adult Fishing Day is free to all. Register by May 19.
Catholic Adventure Week Offers Fun and Faith 
Catholic Boy Scouts and Venturers! Join us for a thrilling week of fun, high adventure, merit badges, Kodiak, and faith at Swift Explorer Base. Enjoy meals in a dining hall and all of the great activities S bar F has to offer.

Register as an individual or with your Troop or Crew. (Plus save $100 if it is a second week of summer camp.)
New Popcorn Sale Vendor 
The Council is excited to announce a new partnership with Pecatonica River Popcorn for the 2016 popcorn sale! A number of factors were taken into consideration and a committee, represented by all teams in the Council, was established to help set the direction for the upcoming sale.

More information regarding the switch will be forthcoming, including district-specific training sessions.
Scholarship Fund Ensures the Best Summer Camp Staff 
The camp staff scholarship fund was started to recruit and retain summer camp staff members of the highest caliber. Scholarships from $250 to $1,250 are available for camp staff members who have completed their high school education and are enrolled as full-time undergraduate or graduate students. 
 
Help us continue to assemble the best possible camp staff to deliver a high quality program for our Scouts attending summer camp. Contribute to the scholarship fund by completing the scholarship fund form.
