To Local Scouting
"Be Prepared" is the motto of the Boy Scouts of America. A gift to the council's endowment fund ensures that the council is prepared to offer the outstanding programs we now have to future generations and also grow to meet the needs of our youth and community for the next 100 years.
Through the Scouting Heritage Society, the Greater St. Louis Area Council recognizes those who believe in preserving the tradition and values of Scouting. Membership in the Scouting Heritage Society requires a minimun gift of $1,000 (James E. West Society Fellowship Award) or a deferred gift of at least $5,000 to the permanent endowment. Have questions about Cub Scout camp or looking for more information? Make plans to attend our Camp Open House on April 9 at Beaumont Scout Reservation or Camp Lewallen. At this event, parents/leaders get questions answered, tour camp, and learn all the information needed before their son attends one of our camps. A program area is available to Scouts to enjoy. Webelos can earn their Engineer Adventure Pin with EPIC engineers on April 30 at EPIC Systems. Build, experiment, learn, and work with real engineers. Stations include engineering experiments, building, interviewing an engineer, and creating blueprints. Register here.
