Scouting For Food Gathers 1.9 Million Food Items
Thank you to the thousands of Scouts, parents, and volunteers who helped make the 31st annual Scouting For Food drive a huge success! 

Not even snow and plummeting temperatures could keep the Scouts from collecting hundreds of thousands of donated food. Saturday's good turn gathered 1,955,525 food items for those in need. Last year, Scouting For Food collected 1,811,354 items of food.  Read more | See the photo gallery

Merit Badge Card Update
Eagle Scout Badge The Council Advancement Committee has approved the adoption of the National "blue card" for merit badge record keeping. These will replace the "white cards" currently used by the Greater St. Louis Area Council. The remaining inventory of "white cards" will be sold at Scout Shops until sold out. The "blue card" is also available at all scout shops. Both versions of merit badge cards will be accepted indefinitely. Learn more
Update Your Skills at University of Scouting
No matter your role in Scouting, University of Scouting offers classes to help you take your Scouting program to the next level. From beginner courses to advanced classes, this one-day training has something for everyone.

Merit Badge SashMERIT BADGE SKILL CENTERS -- Upcoming merit badge skill centers include Law (Dec. 29), Truck Transportation (Jan. 9) and Railroading (Jan. 23).

PREPARE FOR HIGH ADVENTURE AT POWDER HORN -- Powder Horn is an outdoor high-adventure resource management course. Offered only every other year, the next courses are scheduled for April 2016 at Beaumont Scout Reservation and May 2016 at S bar F Scout Ranch. Click here to register.
