Program Preview gets under way next week! Click on your district in the left column for information on dates, times, and locations. Make sure your district is represented at this meeting so you have all the information to plan an exciting program year for your unit. 
     To help units plan the upcoming year, the council also produces an annual Program Guide. This important tool contains schedules and program information. It was mailed to registered leaders who are entitled to receive a free subscription to the Duffle Bag magazine. The guide is also available electronically here.

#ScoutItOut This Summer To Earn Free Camp

You could be one of three contest winners to receive a FREE week at 2016 summer camp plus a $500 gift card to the Scout Shop! All you have to do is post a Scouting photo or video between June 8-August 8 to your Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram accounts. Scouting for Food

The demand for food assistance over the summer is high as kids who rely on free or reduced school lunches no longer have that option. To help keep food pantry shelves stocked through the summer months, the Scouts are teaming with the United Way of Greater St. Louis' Men's Leadership SocietySchnuck Markets Inc., St. Louis Area Foodbank and the Post-Dispatch to "Stuff the Truck" on Friday, May 29. Those wishing to donate food can drop off donations at Culinaria (North Ninth and Olive streets downtown) Friday between 6 a.m.-2 p.m.

Scouts Needed For 133rd Annual VP Parade

Volunteers are already hard at work preparing for the 133rd Annual VP Parade, which will be held July 4, 2015 in Forest Park. For the event, Scouts are needed to lead and help hold signage for parade participants. This televised parade is just over a mile in length and Scouts would be asked to walk the duration of the route and wear field uniforms. Ozark Trailblazers Eagle Scout Earns National $25K Scholarship to Further Education

The phone call came on April Fool's Day, but Frank Nash quickly realized this was not a prank call. On April 1, 2015, Frank learned that he was the sole recipient of the National Eagle Scout Association's $25,000 United Health Foundation college scholarship. According to its website, NESA receives more than 5,000 scholarship applications each year. Read More
