Jewish Committee Good Turn Sunday, May 17
At Memorial Day Good Turn, Scouts and Scouters honor those who have served our country by placing a small American flag at each grave. On Sunday, May 17, the Jewish Committee Good Turn will take place at St. Louis area Jewish cemeteries. All Scouts and Scouters wishing to participate should register here.

Sneak Peak Inside New S bar F Dining Hall
The new 16,000 square-foot dining hall, located in Camp Famous Eagle at S bar F Scout Ranch, will seat over 400 diners and double as an emergency storm shelter. The dining hall will also serve as a central commissary for all four camps on the 5,200 acre Ranch. View the photo gallery.

Bruton Selected Missouri VFW Scout of the Year Scholarship Recipient
 A member of Sea Scout Ship 5454, Venture Crew 2783, and Explorer Aviation Post 2297 in the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Katie Bruton was selected as the 2015 Missouri VFW Scout of the Year recipient. Katie, from Union, Mo., was sponsored by VFW Post 2661 in Washington, MO. Read more.

STEM On CAMPus
 Get ready for a new kind of summer camp experience with STEM on CAMPus. This exciting new camp will take place on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University June 2-5. There will be 6-8 program sessions to work on merit badges or NOVA awards. Extracurricular fun will happen each evening such as ropes course and team building games. University faculty and staff will be present to help facilitate and campers will live in a campus dorm for the duration of the program. Learn more or register.

Scouts Needed For 133rd Annual VP Parade
 Volunteers are already hard at work preparing for the 133rd Annual VP Parade, which will be held July 4, 2015 in Forest Park. For the event, Scouts are needed to lead and help hold signage for parade participants. This televised parade is just over a mile in length and Scouts would be asked to walk the duration of the route and wear Class A uniforms.
