Units or individuals looking to be among the first in the country to purchase copies of the new Cub Scout books and leader guides can now pre-order their books from the Scout Shop. All orders must be received by April 29, 2015.  Payment will be taken in the Scout Shop when the books are picked up between May 1-15, 2015.  All pre-orders will be filled in the order they were received while supplies last.  Order now. 

A service project is a special Good Turn that puts Scout spirit into action. Projects can take many forms such as a community cleanup, repairing a place of worship, improving a wildlife habitat, or organizing a recycling effort. Start now reporting all service hours. The Boy Scouts of America announced a new program to engage children naturally curious about fizzing, bubbling, building, designing, and much more. The new program, STEM Scouts, will roll out in the Greater St. Louis Area Council, as well as 11 additional councils, this fall and will give young people a new, fun way to discover science, technology, engineering, and math. The program launches at a time when careers in STEM-related fields are on the rise.
