Find out at the Venturing Hunger Games: Capture the Flag! Tributes check in at 6 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 12, at the Cornucopia (Shippey Pavilion, Beaumont Scout Reservation). The victor is announced at 10:30 p.m. Admission is free, with snacks and bonfire included, as well as a showing of "The Hunger Games." Holi-DAY Camps Offer
Winter Fun For Cubs

Are you looking for something extra for your Cub Scout to do during winter break? Send your Cub and his sibling(s) to Holi-DAY Camp at Beaumont Scout Reservation. Choose from two sessions or sign up for both: Holiday Around the World, Dec. 22-23; New Year's Bash, Dec. 29-30. Fee is $65 per child per camp, and includes lunch, crafts, and activities. During STEM University
 

Scouts can explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics during STEM University at the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 27 and at Southeast Missouri State University on Jan. 3. Don't miss this popular event! Register today.

CAMP FAMOUS EAGLE -- During construction of the new dining hall, access to Camp Famous Eagle at S bar F Scout Ranch is closed for winter and spring camping.


CAMPERSHIPS -- Lack of funds should not keep a Scout from going to camp. Camperships provide assistance. Download an application here.


Merit Badge Sash MERIT BADGE SKILL CENTERS -- Upcoming merit badge skill centers include Chess, Citizenship in the World, Horsemanship, Law, and Truck Transportation.


RECHARTERING -- Effective Jan. 1, 2015, a unit not reregistered by its expiration date will be considered separated by the council and immediately dropped from the BSA -- leaving it without access to council facilities and programs. Read more...  

 

YOUTH PROTECTION -- Registered leaders are now notified by email if they have not yet taken Youth Protection Training or their training has expired or will expire in 30/60/90 days. Included is a link to online training. Make sure your email address is up to date!
