Grace Period Removed For Rechartering Units Effective Jan. 1, 2015, a unit that has not reregistered by its expiration date will be considered separated by the Greater St. Louis Area Council and immediately dropped from the BSA's membership reporting. This means units are no longer covered by liability insurance and cannot use council facilities or programs. Recharter packets were distributed at November roundtables. SERVICE CENTER HOLIDAY HOURS -- Greater St. Louis Area Council Service Centers will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28. SCOUT SHOP HOURS -- All Scout Shops will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27. On Friday, Nov. 28, BSA Outfitters will be open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. while the Cape Girardeau Scout Shop will open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Additionally, BSA Outfitters will close at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 to conduct inventory.
