Giving

The Greater
St. Louis Area Council,
Boy Scouts of America,
is a United Way agency.
null

Each year, the Greater St. Louis Area Council relies on its Friends of Scouting fundraising campaign to provide 23 percent of its annual operating budget.
The council spends approximately $180 per Scout during each program year. Donations through Friends of Scouting help deliver programs that provide Scouts valuable life skills through adventure, learning, leadership, and service. These funds also help keep camp fees at affordable prices, maintain more than 80,000 acres of wilderness at our four camps, and help strengthen and continually modernize our outdoor program.
Contact your district executive to ensure a Friends of Scouting presenter is scheduled for your unit's Blue and Gold banquet or Court of Honor.
Remember... Don't judge a hero by the size of his cape. Help every Scout become a hero!
