Jewish Senior Services held the Grand Opening Celebration of The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Campus on Park Avenue on Thursday, August 4. Over 200 donors and friends joined local dignitaries, including Senator Richard Blumenthal and Mayor Joseph P. Ganim, and the leadership of Jewish Senior Services as they celebrated the culmination of five years of planning with the official opening of the new campus.

On August 4, Seashore Gardens Living Center (SGLC) came together to celebrate "a century of caring, a compassionate future" - with many of the people who have helped to make it happen.
During the formal program, CEO Marty Klein accepted the Martin H. Klein Leadership Award on behalf of the leaders who have guided SGLC. Board members Shirley and Howard Bernstein accepted the Labov Bernstein Community Service Award on behalf of the community members and volunteers who have donated time and funds. SGLC Executive Director Janice Cambron accepted a special Centennial award on behalf of the dedicated staff, and the residents and families who have been part of the SGLC family over the past 100 years.
