Dear (Contact First Name),

Wow! June is nearly over and I just realized I never sent out a newsletter for this month. And there's so much to tell you!

First, FORBIDDEN hits the shelves on June 28th in mass market paperback size! So for those of you who have been wanting to read it, but the trade paperback price was just a little too much, now is your chance! It's even on SALE for pre-orders only until the release for $6.87! Heck, that's cheaper than a lot of books in Walmart!

The poor thing is languishing over on Amazon and I'll bet a bunch of you have a nifty gift card waiting in your account since the lawsuit over fixed prices was settled. Any boost you can give to your friends and family would be hugely appreciated!

Oh, and here it is over at Barnes & Noble (same price!)

And just look what showed up on my doorstep! ILLICIT hits the shelves in November and I have ARCs! I don't have many and a couple are promised to reviewers, but I'll bet that FIVE of you out there would just LOVE to read Rachel's story! Right?! So, just send me an email, to: cathyclampfans@gmail.com with "WANT!" as the subject line and you'll be in the running!

Last month, I asked for entries to a contest to get an early electronic copy of ILLICIT and was a little surprised at the very low entries. I think it may have been that I was specifically asking for people who blog or review books. That reminded me of a conversation I had at this year's RT Booklovers convention. I was in a group of authors and we were talking about reviews and how important they are to authors, not only because we like to know what people think of our books, but because in today's world of electronic rankings, the quantity of reviews has direct impact on how often our books are seen. I thought it was an interesting discussion and think that a survey of readers might help us authors understand more about how reviews impact your reading. Would you mind taking a moment to answer a survey? It's free and anonymous (only one survey per person, but other than that, no restrictions). Click here to go to the survey  Thanks for helping me know more about you!

Next, I'm BEYOND THRILLED to announce that I'll be attending the Barbara Vey Reader Appreciation convention in Milwaukee, WI next April! I've been trying to fit this reader event into my scheduled for nearly five years and finally, it works! If you're in the midwest and have never heard of this event, it's a fun-filled, intimate event with 60 of your favorite bestselling authors. There's something for everyone who loves romance and action! Kristan Higgins is headlining this year, and you can also meet and mingle with some of my favorite writer friends, like Shayla Black, Eloisa James, J. Kenner (aka Julie Kenner), Kathy Lyons (aka Jade Lee), Deborah Coonts, Diana Rowland, and bunches more! Go visit their Facebook page for the event to find out more information and to keep up to date on the latest information on when you can register and reserve a room!

Now, I don't know what this means for my attending the RT Booklovers convention in May (which is just a few days after this event.) But I'm checking to see whether both are possible with both my day job and writing schedule. Fingers crossed and I'll let you more as I know it.

Finally, I'm working hard on DENIED and am really loving the new characters! I also have submitted several new book proposals to my editor and fingers crossed she likes them!

Have a terrific beginning to summer and HAPPY READING!

Cathy
