Happy Holidays!

No, I'm not using "holidays" to be politically correct. I'm using it because there are a number of occasions commemorated during December, and many people (including me!) observe more than one of them.  

 

Whatever it is that you, your family, and your friends celebrate, safe travels, peace, and joy!

St. Augustine, FL Nights of Lights

Downtown St. Augustine is again a fairly land of lights. The Nights of Lights is the modern interpretation of a Spanish tradition-displaying white candles in the windows during the Christmas season. The lights are far more magical in person than in photos, but here are two I took a few years ago.

   

 

 

I'm still looking for the pix I took from the boat tour last year. Yep, there are all kinds of Nights of Lights tours from walking tours, to trolley rides, to the boat excursion. If you're ever here during the Christmas season, be sure to head downtown at night!
