Hi Everyone!
Sorry for the long gap between newsletters. Life continues to move at a hectic pace and my parents are requiring more time as they get older. They were supposed to come with me when I moved from Minnesota to Georgia, but they're still up north. It seems like I'm always up there trying to help them clean stuff out of their house. It sure isn't easy to get two packrats to part with their things.

I could tell stories, but you probably don't want to hear about how my mom won't get rid of any of her spatulas despite the fact that she has more than three dozen or that she refuses to part with six sequin kits from the 1970s because she might decide to sew them on her clothes some day. :-) Then there's my dad who actually is getting rid of stuff...when I was able to get him to work on his papers. He'd only make it about an hour before he'd think of something else to do and ping out of the room. It's funny now, but not so much when I'm actually up there.

It's a good thing I don't have room in my house otherwise I think I'd have boxes of their stuff piled everywhere right now. As it stands, I always end up with more things than I wanted, but it gets it out of their house and I'm better about purging.

But enough of that. It's bad enough that I tell these stories to my poor coworkers. On with the newsletter, right?

The Power of Two
At long last, The Power of Two is available in ebook format. I apologize for the length of time it's taken me-I certainly meant to have it out long before this. I appreciate everyone who emailed me to ask about it and who waited patiently for it to come out. Thank you!

For those of you unfamiliar with it, The Power of Two is a science fiction action/adventure romance story that was originally part of the 2176 series. Each book in the series was written to stand alone, so don't worry that you'll be lost if you don't read the other books. The main thrust of the story is really the heroine's search for her parents.

Here's the cover copy for the book:

For years, UCE Captain Cai Randolph has had one goal: Find her missing parents and bring them home. She thinks she's finally located them, but if she's right, they're on the Raft Cities, one of the most lawless and dangerous places on Earth. She searches for a reason for the army to send her, her partner, and his team there and discovers the UCE's most wanted fugitive-Banzai Maguire-is hiding on the floating cities.

Special Forces Captain Jake Tucker is furious when he learns Cai is a woman and not artificial intelligence. There's no chance he's taking her with his team on a mission to the Raft Cities, but when he realizes she's facing multiple threats, he has no choice. No one else will protect her the way he will. But getting her away from the UCE increases her risk and pretending to be lovers complicates everything because it isn't long before Jake wants Cai to be his for real.

It's available at Amazon, Apple iTunes, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and Smashwords and is priced at $2.99 (in the US) for the next few weeks. Please check your ebook retailer of choice for pricing in other countries.

Kindle Unlimited
As an experiment, I put two stories-Enemy Embrace and Dark Awakening-in the Kindle Unlimited program. If you're a member, they're available now, but I can't promise they'll be there after I meet the time commitment required. I haven't made up my mind yet, but if you'd like to read them as part of the program, sooner might be better than later.

All my other books are still available in all the usual places and some are out in audio as well as ebook. And I think that's all I have this time around.

Thanks for reading,
