Please don't forget Father's Day, June 21

If you're fortunate enough to still have your father, please take the initiative and tell him you love him and if you're with him on Father's Day, make a point to include a big hug and thank him for being a great dad. Make those special 'Snapshots of Life' memories you can store and recall later in life. I wish I had my dad, but pictures/memories are all I have now.

Here's a short bio of an exceptional author-Sophia Johnson, who after retirement went through the ugly Empty Nest Syndrome and turned to writing Historical Romance. Visit her website (http://sophiajohnson.net) under the book page or Amazon and you'll find The Blackthorn Trilogy: (ALWAYS MINE; MIDNIGHTS BRIDE; RISK EVERYTHING), Kensington Zebra Publisher.

Unafraid of anything, Sophia Johnson ventured into self-publishing The Raptor Castle Series and has completed four books so far: FORBIDDEN, SEDUCED, RUTHLESS, SURRENDER (with more to come). Read her historical romances and you'll find she's true to history and uses it as wallpaper so readers are totally immersed in the time period and the characters of each novel. Keepers-that's the only word to describe her books, inhabited with characters that live on each exciting page.

Please visit her website Welcome page and read a few of her many awards won for the trilogy published by Kensington Zebra, including finalists in the Colorado Award of Excellence, the Holt Medallion and the Maggie Awards. Sophia Johnson is an author who knows how to write, isn't afraid to enter contests and compete with other excellent authors because she has a ton of talent. Don't forget she has a CONTACT ME page also. If you'd like to leave her a note and keep in touch with her, she'd love it.

Family News

Those who are prayer warriors, please continue to pray for my husband (John). He is still recovering from cancer and has two more shots to take, given in his stomach.

We'll be traveling to Columbus, GA, during June. Another grandson of ours, Josh, will be graduating from Army Basic Training. The way the world is today, Josh will be on our prayer list every day.
