October, 2014
Dear Neighbor,

Grab a sweater-- Fall is here and Halloween is upon us. Soon the streets of Lakeview, Lincoln Park and Near North neighborhoods will be filled with trick-or-treaters and fun events everyone will enjoy. Safety is always our number one priority, and we are happy to provide you with tips to guarantee a great experience for your little ghouls and goblins: place a name tag on their costume with your phone number;  bring a flashlight; and, if possible, choose a light colored costume to increase visibility after dusk. Click here to check out our list of local Halloween activities!

Our office visits many charitable organizations around the district and often asks for their "wish list". Recently, we visited Madonna House, a local shelter in our community that mostly houses families. To assist these families, our goal is to collect 50 twin-sized sheets and blankets throughout the month of October. If you or someone you know have these items, please bring them to our office (3223 N. Sheffield) Monday-Friday between 9 AM - 5 PM, or call 773-296-4141 to schedule a donation.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of my staff if we can ever be of assistance to you. Also, be sure to check out our Facebook and Twitter pages to keep in touch and learn more about news and events in the area.

Very truly yours,

Sara Feigenholtz
