Sumdog Winners!
I wanted to congratulate Mr. Yurasek's class for winning the Central Ohio Math Contest for the 2nd time this year. His students had one week to complete 1000 math problems and they had the top score - see the scores below. I also wanted to mention that 3 of our students were the top 3 Overall Winners! Congratulations to 1st place - Savannah Nanthavong, 2nd place Jameson Stilson, and 3rd place Kyndra Leite!

Good study habits contribute immensely to academic success. As you review papers sent home in your child's book bag, compliment complete and neat work (yes- neatness counts!) and discuss mistakes on tests and classwork. Encourage your child to read and follow all directions. When studying for a test, have your child practice answering in complete sentences. Always tell them how proud you are and they should be of themselves too when they give their best effort!

Gold Slips
Gold Slips are given to students by staff members for many reasons. February Gold Slips will be given for showing the character trait of Caring. Students can demonstrate this trait by being kind, compassionate, grateful, forgiving, and helpful. Students come to the office and put their gold slip in our Treasure Box. Every Friday, Mrs. Bray picks 15 -20 Gold Slips from the Treasure Box and calls those students to the office for a prize.
