We are Proud of our Students!!!
We had our 1st Nine Week's Awards Assembly (grades 3-5) on November 5th. Students were awarded for Good Conduct, Perfect Attendance, Hard Worker, A/B Honor Roll, All A Honor Roll, and Teacher's Choice. We are very proud of the students and want them to continue to come to school every day ready to learn. Please ask your child about the Assembly and their awards and encourage them to continue to do their best!
We also had our Movie and Popcorn reward for students who met 2 out of the 3 requirements: attendance, behavior, and academics. More than 250 students received this reward and we are very proud of them! The reward for 2nd nine weeks will be "Games Galore" where students who earn the reward will be able to bring in hand held games and gaming systems. Please look for a letter with more detailed information to be sent home with your child soon.

Following announcements (9:15), please bring your classes out to the front lawn. We will be saying the pledge of allegiance together. The kids will also join in on some patriotic songs and we will have a school-wide picture. Please let you students know to wear the colors listed below.

2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Run
Students in grades 2-5 completed a mile run and students in grades K/1 completed about 1/2 mile. All students celebrated after with snacks and a drink - fun had by all! Thank you so much to Mrs. Moore for organizing this again for our students! You really take things to the next level and we appreciate you! Also, thank you to Mrs. Brunner, Mrs. Byler and Mrs. Sperk for all of your help to make the day a success!

Gold Slips
Gold Slips are given to students by staff members for many reasons. October Gold Slips will be given for showing the character trait of Responsibility. Students can demonstrate this characteristic by being in charge of what they say and do, thinking before they act, accepting the consequences of their actions, being accountable for their own learning, and always doing their best. Students come to the office and put their gold slip in our Treasure Box. Every Friday, Mrs. Bray picks 15 -20 Gold Slips from the Treasure Box and calls those students to the office for a prize.
