ARTIST OF THE WEEK
                         Clay Patton

Our 3rd graders have been learning about the art elements: color and value.  We started by painting a color wheel and experimenting with mixing colors.  Next we learned how to create different values by tinting and shading a color.  The end product is a beautiful monochromatic fish. Clay Patton was selected by Mrs. Sperk for his fantastic project. Clay is a 3rd grade student in Mr. Eft's class. He has been attending Groveport Elementary since pre-school.  Clay has a younger brother, Cooper, who is in 1st grade.  He loves to use colored pencils to draw trucks and houses.  He also collects rocks.  Congratulations Clay for being our Artist of the Week!

Safety First

Parents and Guardians this is just a reminder that if your child is a car rider, please park at the Middle School Central parking lot.  You will need to get out of your car and meet your child either at the end of the walkway or at the cafeteria doors.  As the weather changes and we have more cold and wet days, please dress you child for the weather.  Also, we plan to exit from the same door even if the weather is rainy or snowy, so you might need to bring an umbrella on these days.  Thank you so much for your support keeping our students safe!
