ARTIST OF THE WEEK
                         Megan Mitchell

Our 5th graders were learning about the upcoming Mexican holiday, The Day of the Dead.  The students drew a skull and filled it in with unique lines, shapes and patterns.   They had to color them brightly and make sure their design was symmetrical. Megan Mitchell was selected by Mrs. Sperk for her exceptional project. Megan is a 5th grade student in Mrs. Gordon's class. She has been attending Groveport Elementary since kindergarten.  She is an only child who loves to draw, read and scrapbook. Megan's favorite aspect of art is drawing.  She enjoys drawing flowers, fish and anything interesting.  She loves using colored pencils and crayons.  Congratulations Megan for being our Artist of the Week!
