Title: Introduction to TAGE's SE Asia Modules
Date/Time: Tuesday Dec. 17, 4 pm
Presenter: Michelle Crane

About: Join Michelle Crane, TAGE Teacher Consultant, as she walks you through TAGE's Southeast Asia On-line Learning Unit. Southeast Asia is an incredibly fascinating and diverse region, which sometimes gets lost in the end-of-the-year rush. Explore this amazing region through six unit modules that provide an overview of the economic, physical, and cultural geography of the region and take a closer look at the impact of climate change, globalization, and environmental challenges in the region. Each module contains lesson plans, case studies, and a wealth of teaching resources that can be downloaded and used in your classroom.

Research Survey

Matt Patton, a doctoral student in the Department of Geography at Texas State University is surveying teachers in Texas in order to gain insights into the communication process between professional organizations in geographic education and Texas teachers. The survey is completely voluntary, but if you do receive it, I encourage you to participate.

If you have any questions about the research you may contact the Matt Patton at [email protected] anytime.
