Issue 47, 10/15/13
From The Beginning
October 17th marks the one-year anniversary of launching the Impact Grantmaking website. I went back to read Issue 1 of the newsletter, published on November 27, 2012, and decided to share my vision with you, once again.
Impact Grantmaking's mission is to diligently advocate for the needs of nonprofit organizations and increase their potential to receive funding.
The goal of Impact Grantmaking is to make community needs visible so that anyone can easily learn more and make a donation. It is my vision that the website and newsletter become tools for bringing community together to help solve problems and to inspire a collective impact for the common good.
Below are several proposals submitted by nonprofit organizations that need funding. Based on the initial feedback from organizations, I anticipate that every week several more proposals will be added, including rural areas, which are often overlooked when it comes to receiving donations from outside the area. The Newsletter will keep you informed as to what the needs are in all areas in Oregon.
Please read the posted proposals, share them with family, friends, colleagues, clients, and then make a donation in any amount!
Your impact on this world is uniquely yours! By supporting your community, you are making a difference in the lives of many individuals!
So, from the very beginning, the mission and vision is still going strong!
Best wishes,
Jennifer
