Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at one these great events!
Green Village Initiative has leased 1.5 acres in one of the worst food deserts in Bridgeport for the construction of a community farm. GVI plans on building 100 32' raised beds. Produce from the farm will be farm to school during the school year and will be available for Bridgeport residents during the summer and low or no cost.
To volunteer building beds this spring or tending the gardens throughout the summer at Reservoir Community Farm please contact Monique Bosch at firstname.lastname@example.org
