Family Service Hours
Don't miss out on your opportunities to fulfill your St. Francis family service hours that are due by May 31, 2015.  Each family is required to perform at least 25 service hours each school year; single-parent households are required to provide 15 service hours each school year.  Families which do not meet their minimum hourly requirement by May 31st will be billed for unfulfilled hours at a rate of $40 per hour up to $1,000.
  • St. Francis Friday Night Bingo is always a great option to meet the requirement, e-mail Sandy Gutierrez at bingo@sfsharks.net if you are interested in attending.  
  • The Athletic department will be hosting its fisrt annual St. Francis Spring Swing Golf Tournament on April 24, 2015 and needs all hands on deck. Please contact Cynthia Baylis at cynthia.baylis@languagelogic.net for volunteer information. 
  • The St. Francis Parents Association will be hosting a Spring BBQ on April 25, 2015. Please contact Carmen Velasquez at vasquez_velasquez@yahoo.com if you are interested in volunteering. 
  • Both events are in need of water donations.  St. Francis will honor 0.5 hours of service per case of 24-35 water bottles donated. Limit 4 cases per family. 
Attendance to the SFPA General Parent meeting requirement is currently being tallied, if you have not fulfilled this requirement, there will be an Academic Guidance meeting next Wednesday, February 25, 2015

Expect to recive a letter about overall service hours, missing Bingo nights/hours and missing SFPA general parent meetings in the upcoming weeks.

1st Annual St. Francis Spring Swing Golf Tournament 
The athletic department of St. Francis is proud to announce the 1st Annual Spring Swing Golf Tournament fundraiser. The event will take place at Spring Hills Golf Course and will begin at 1:00pm with a shotgun start. Additional information, including sponsorship opportunities and entry forms are available on the website. All proceeds of the event will help benefit student athletes here at St. Francis.

The course selection process for 2015-2016 is open.  Students were given a brief presentation and a hard copy course selection form in English class last week.  Families must complete both the hard copy form and the electronic version found on RenWeb.  Please follow the instructions listed below.  The deadline for selecting courses for next year is Friday, February 27 at 3:00pm.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding the sign-up process or academic courses for next year, please feel free to contact me at cmaylo@stfrancishigh.net or at (831) 724-5933 x203.

2015-2016 Online Course Selection Process

 

You may select courses at anytime during the selection window which will remain open from February 9th - until 3pm, February 27th.

 

Please refer to the comprehensive 2015-16 Course Catalog LINK for reference during the course selection process.  If you have questions about Catalog content, kindly contact the Assistant Principal for Academics.

 

The course selection process can only be completed using your Parents Web account and we recommend both the student and parent are present during the selection process. If you still need to create a ParentsWeb account please go here LINK.

 

1. Login to your Parents Web account, and select "Student Information."

 

 

2. Next, select "Course Request."

 

 

3. Please note that you should try to pick a first and second choice for each non-required class selection. For example, if you are choosing Choir as your first elective choice, you might choose Visual Art 1A/B as your second choice.

 

  

4. Please note that required courses, such as Theology, will be selected for you.

 

 

 

5. Click "Continue" to save your selections. You will be able to change and re-save your selections until the course selection window is closed on February 27th at 3:00pm.

 

 

 

6. Repeat this process for any other student you have attending St. Francis not including those students in the class of 2019.

 

7. To complete this process you must submit the paper course selection sheet to the main office by 3pm, February 27th.  Paper course selection sheets are being provided to students during the week of February 9.  The hard copy course selection sheets are also available on the St. Francis web page here LINK.
