What's New...
 Our monthly contests have been stirring up a lot of buzz; people are talking, and the calls are coming in. We're glad to give these services away so that you have the opportunity to try something new to nurture your body, mind, and spirit. Plus, we're having a lot of fun with it! Dorothy's in a giving mood again this month, so don't miss the details of this month's contest below.
We have so much coming up this month that we decided to list it all in a calendar of events (look left). Details about each event with an * can be found below.
We have a few openings for the ART (Advanced Reiki Training) class on Saturday, April 6. This is a short class that teaches you advanced techniques that can enhance your Usui/Tibetan Reiki skills. The cost is $100, and reservations are required.
There are just two seats available yet for Level I & II Reiki classes April 27 and April 28. Reiki is a great way to help decrease anxiety, increase energy, and improve your ability to focus. The cost is $275, and reservations are required.

All of us have heard about spring cleaning for our home, and many of us look forward to this yearly ritual of scrubbing, opening up the windows, and starting the spring with a fresh and clean house.
This is also a great time of year to clean out tension and other emotions you'd like to let go of that are in your home. It's a time of renewal. A time to get rid of what isn't working for you to make room for something new and fresh.
This is the time to plant a seed and watch it grow (literally and figuratively)! Here are just a few ideas...
1. When you walk into your home at the end of the day, most of us wipe our feet before we take a step into our homes. We probably think this is just getting the dirt off our shoes, so we don't have to clean the floor more often than necessary. Consider this...

Congratulations to the March e-newsletter winners! Nancy K. was our lucky winner with a "pot of gold"! She won a 1/2 hour of Reiki, a 1/2 hour massage, and a 1/2 hour intuitive body work session (a $95 value) just for being the first to find the five Irish/St. Patty's Day words and the pot of gold! Our 2nd place winner, Terry H., is receiving a 1/2 hour massage and our 3rd place winner Cheryl H. a 1/2 hour of Reiki.
So, here's what you've all been waiting for - the details of this month's contest!
This month we're offering two prizes. The first winner will receive a one-hour intuitive bodywork session ($65 value). Second place winner will receive a 1/2 hour intuitive bodywork session ($35 value).
In order to win one of these prizes, you must be the first or second person to submit the correct answers to the questions in the attached PDF. You will find all the answers within this e-newsletter.
Before an intuitive bodywork session, we ask a few questions about how and what you're feeling. We then customize the perfect session for you that may include some or all of our services, including Reiki, cranio-massage, Chakra Balancing, Sinus/TMJ massage (it is allergy season) and more. You have the opportunity to receive the benefits of several services all based on your needs.

2nd Saturday:
Wellness Works
For 2nd Saturday - Wellness works on April 13, we're holding a food drive for the Boyertown Area Multiservice Community Food Pantry from 11:00 to 3:00, a Sage Event from 11:00 to 12:30, and "Zen at mid-day" from from 12:30 to 3:00.
Food Drive: Drop off a jar of peanut butter as a donation to the Food Pantry at Massage & Bodyworks between 11:00 and 3:00 on April 13 and receive a $10 gift certificate good toward any services with Dorothy. The gift certificate will expire July 1.
Sage Event: A special hands-on presentation to learn how to spring clean your home environment. Everyone will leave with a helpful sage tool to begin cleansing their own home environment. The cost is $10. Drop-ins are welcome. See below for more details.
Zen at Mid-Day: This is a great opportunity to hear the affirmations we've been sharing (and will continue to share) with you each month.

Affirmations
We'd like to share two more affirmations with you this month. Affirmations are thoughts, ideas & stories that - repeated frequently - offer an opportunity to re-program our consciousness in order to change our reality. Affirmations can positively influence the way we think, how we feel, our perceptions, how we experience the world, our personal relationships, our behaviors, the environment we find ourselves in and even our physical being, such as blood pressure, heart rate, or immune function.
Presence
Today I'll find my soul in the here & now. This affirmation is about the present moment. Make this your promise for today.
Try to be as present as you can and when you become aware that you have wondered from the present moment ask to be brought back. The mind easily slips out of the now; we fantasize about the future; we reminisce about the past... Click here to continue reading

Sage Event
 Massage & Bodywork Centers is excited to introduce our brand new "Sage Events" where participants will learn several methods for clearing their homes of any stress or emotions they would prefer letting go of.
They'll learn about feathers, crystals, and herbs that are cleansing.
They'll see a demonstration of the Native American tradition of Smudging for themselves and their environments. And, everyone will leave with a sage tool to get started clearing out their own spaces.
The sage events will be offered at the 2nd Saturday - Wellness Works on April 13 from 11:00 to 12:30 and again on Friday, April 26 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Drop ins are welcome. The cost is $10, which includes a sage product. |

Lecture on the Porch
 Massage & Bodywork Centers, along with our neighbors on the second floor, are starting a lecture on the porch series the third Saturday of each month. From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, we'll be offering a series of speakers on all sorts of topics.
The Lecture Series is held outside on the covered porch (thus the name) and is FREE! There is no need to RSVP for these, just stop in.
On Saturday, May 18 Dorothy will be presenting "Chakra Balancing for Wellness" and offering discounted Chakra Balancing sessions for just $25 (a $30-$60 value) immediately following the presentation.
