Impact of war on soldiers and sexual assault victims
Dr. Ghafoori will sharing with you her experiences in dealing with all traumas. She is going to be discussing the different traumas that individuals experience and how they impact their lives. She has dedicated her research to post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and has worked with war veterans, victims of sexual assault, etc.. She brings with her years of experience in the field of trauma and is working with the leaders of the trauma community to help doctors and individuals better understand, diagnose and treat this disorder which impacts many lives on a day to day basis
Heidi Larkin-Reed as been approved by the membership on May 23rd meeting. President-Elect as recommended from the Past Presidents May 13th meeting. Heidi will assume the office effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 as Club President.
