Wow, another Spurgeon Award winner here in our own Rotary Club. Bill Steiner, we are all so very proud of you and your spirit of "Service Above Self". It was very moving to be among the

250 or so people gathered to honor you and Sheriff Sandra Hutchens while receiving this splendid award.
Fellow Rotarians, congratulate Bill Steiner the first chance you get. He truly deserves it.
With only 2000 tickets available, the Rotary Rawhide Roundup raffle tickets are selling very well. Have you run out of your raffle tickets yet? Some Rotarians are telling me they have already sold out and need a few more books to sell. Remember, there will be prizes for the three highest ticket sellers. Be sure you are among the winners.
Do not deprive your friends and family from the opportunity to will $5,000.00 in GOLD. They deserve to have the chance to win. You will be so glad if one of your friends or family member gets this great
 prize.

Orange International Street Fair 2012 Wrap Up
We are very pleased with the success of the OISF 2012. Your efforts to man the Beer Booth on both sides coupled with the always popular Kettle Korn Booth at the Citizens Bank were a great combination. Many Orange Rotarians gave of their time and talents on that Labor Day weekend and amassed over 300 hours of volunteerism, to that sacrifice I thank you very much. Our Rotarians not only gave of their time but had excellent input into the speed and efficiency of the task at hand, and had fun doing it, right Dr. G ? What a great team!!!! We are not done tallying all expenses, so we cannot give a bottom line yet, but for those that were not at the meeting following that weekend I can inform you that we took in over $40K and are hoping to net over $20K after expenses. This is a great improvement over past Beer Booth's based on the ability to utilize both sides of the Beer Trailer, the extra sales generated at the Kettle Korn Booth by tireless Rotarians. Much thanks to our Captains Gayle Merino, Dr. Neil Mansdorf and Warren Parchan. Each Captain was assigned a full day and all made more than th  e full day by the time the weekend ended. I will be posting the shifts logged by our Rotarians in the hall way for your review soon, and you will see the likes of Kari Armstrong, Kate Mulleady, Dr. G, and yes our Pres. Ron putting in multiple days and nights throughout the weekend. And, several Rotarians and a couple of spouses just showed up and filled in without notice. Special thanks to Mike Schmitt, Dr Neil Mansdorf and Eric Kuli for the quick change in kegs keeping the flow going !
