CO-PRODUCTION TRAINING COURSE:
A framework for delivery through effective partnerships...
Despite joint agency compacts, the voluntary sector support scheme and the development of Local Service Boards, real, meaningful joint working largely evades us.

Co-production requires new ways of thinking for both the public and voluntary sector.

We need to acknowledge and examine the power imbalances and the different cultures that exist.

Empower - Support for the Voluntary Sector presents: 'Co-production, a framework for delivery through effective partnerships'.

This two day course, which can be delivered to local service boards, Communities First clusters or any cross sector partnerships, enables partners to explore the opportunities and challenges of joint working.

Empower has a strong track record in multi-agency partnership working through the development and implementation of Compact, supporting Communities First Partnerships and Partnerships Training.

"We can get many of the items we need to run our operations from In Kind Direct....Many of these essentials, particularly things like nappies, become hugely expensive in the quantities that we need. We save a lot of money running the service by using In Kind Direct."
