Dear Friends and Supporters,
As one of the millions of Israelis now facing the rain of terrorist rockets, I am so grateful to the brave soldiers who are working around the clock to protect our state.
The men and women of the Israel Air Force are at the frontlines of this fight. They battle Hamas terrorists in Gaza, while guarding Israel's home front with the Iron Dome defense system.
Through our unique partnership with the Air Force, the IAF Center leadership has seen firsthand the remarkable strength, character, and commitment of these men and women. Just this month, the participants on our mission to Israel met with the brave pilots now in the midst of battle, the commanders directing the current operation, and the engineers who devised the ingenious Iron Dome system.
At times like this, our mission at the IAF Center becomes even clearer. We must continue to educate and inspire the next generation so that the IAF has access to the human capital it needs to remain at the cutting edge. We must spread the values and innovation of the IAF to enrich Israeli society. We must provide social services and support for the widows and orphans whose loved ones were lost during IAF service.
We must continue to partner with the Air Force to safeguard Israel's future. Through many battles and grave dangers, the State of Israel survives and thrives because of those who give everything to defend us.
