SHOP TO BENEFIT PARKER SCHOOL STUDENTS: We are participating in Foodland's Shop for Higher Education 2013 program. Every year, Foodland awards $200,000 in college scholarships to 100 Hawai'i high school seniors through its Shop for Higher Education program. The annual statewide program runs through March 19. Select Parker School - code 7406 - when you check out at any Foodland, Sack N Save or Foodland Farms store during this period. You'll earn Maika`i Points for you and for Parker. The more Maika`i Points a school earns, the more scholarships it receives. We appreciate your participation!

Have a sewing machine to loan? Parker Upper School is looking to borrow sewing machines for student use April 4 and 5. Students will be learning the basics of sewing, and they'll be making receiving blankets to donate to North Hawaii Community Hospital. If you are willing to lend us a machine for those two days, please contact Patricia Kassis: pkassis@parkerschool.net.

Thank you to all who helped with Jump Rope for Heart and made a donation! Also, a big thank you to the 10th grade class for coming out to volunteer at the various jump rope stations. The kids did a fantastic job at raising money and becoming heart heros, and are all much appreciated! This year, we exceeded our goal of $5000, and raised well over $6000!
