Greetings!
The Family Phoenix Fitness Challenge Event
It's second quarter and time for the next Family Phoenix Fitness Challenge official 5k! The ICS PTSA is encouraging families to get out and exercise! Each family member that participates earns their student's class points towards winning a catered lunch in June. The next 5k is Sunday, November 22nd at 10:00 am. Just show up, take a picture of your family at the event and send the picture to Mrs. Henry. She'll keep track of the points for each grade and let you know! Volunteering
Volunteers Needed for Nominating Committee
The PTSA needs at least two more volunteers for the Nominating Committee. The nominating committee is an essential committee that ensures that we have the right people running the PTSA. Please contact Chris Lazoritz if you are interested. Training is mandatory for this position.
ACORN Awards Volunteering Opportunity
The PTSA is interested in reestablishing the ACORN Awards for excellence for Educators and Volunteers. We will need three to five volunteers to head up this committee. Please contact Kathy Thompson if you are interested in helping with this fun committee.

Important - ICSPTSA.org Email Addresses are Migrating to Office 365
Our PTSA is moving to Office 365 for email and document storage. If you have an email account with icsptsa.org, we will migrate your existing email to a new mailbox in Office 365. Two important dates for you:

November 14-16: please check your icsptsa.org email between these dates to get your new account and password for Office 365. Save or print the email with your account and password. After the migration, this is how you will access your email. After November 20th, you will not be able to access your email with your current password.

November 20-22: we will migrate email to Office 365 starting at noon (12 pm) on Friday the 20th and continuing through the weekend. To do the migration, we have to reset the passwords for the existing mailboxes, so you will not be able to access your current email accounts after noon on Friday the 20th.
Check the icsptsa.org website for updates. Contact webmaster@icsptsa.org with any questions.

ICS Harvest Festival November 20th from 6-8:30pm at ICS

There is also a $5 suggested donation. All proceeds go toward Sleepless in Seattle, a local charity whose mission is to provide sleeping bags to homeless people in our area. You can direct any questions to s-mgordan@lwsd.org or nasullivan@lwsd.org.
