If you want to learn strategies for supporting your students who have hearing loss, sign up!
DeafTEC: Student Access = Student Success
Full-day workshops are scheduled in six locations across the state. Workshops help STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) teachers learn strategies for students mainstreamed into their classrooms. They also benefit inclusion specialists and others working to ensure students who are deaf/hard of hearing or who have language delays are successful.
Attendees can register to receive a $100 stipend for participating. See attached flyer for additional information.

This training discusses eligibility criteria for D/HH services, the Communication Plan, and MTSS, and how they relate to one another and to IDEA. The training looks at each component, what are their roles are in the special education process. The session will look at potential issues that can arise for the district if these components are not used correctly, as well as the benefits that exist when they link properly.
